Aberdeenshire Birdwatching Tours

Explore North East Scotland's incredible birds on a beginner-friendly birdwatching tour.

Beginner-friendly birdwatching tours

Birdwatching can feel intimidating, especially when you're starting out or you're visiting a place on holiday. My tours are aimed at beginners, and we'll focus on learning about the species you can see, their lives, and how you can identify them. Please bring your cameras (of any kind; smartphones have great cameras) and we can also talk about tips for taking improving your bird and wildlife photography.

My goal is to help you connect with nature and build skills so that you have the confidence to continue learning more about wildlife.

We'll spend two hours enjoying the company of gannets at Scotland's biggest mainland gannet colony. At this time of year, they will have chicks (called gugas), which are equally adorable and odd looking.
